 Dr. Bavar has been working with dentists who are members in his study group on case design, presentation, fee structure, obtaining prosthetic components, and the actual construction of the prosthesis which the member bills directly to the patient. It's like taking a course and getting paid for it.

We try to keep the implant courses on the cutting edge of implant dentistry. For those of you who are early in their learning curve, Dr. Bavar is available for individual help or instruction. In this way you can be brought up to speed with the more experienced clinicians.

Consultations
Dr. Trevor Bavar offers free consultation service to all Study Group members. These services include but are not limited to:
- Review of patient's records.
- Evaluation of the patient's C-T scan x-rays with the computer based Simplant program when indicated.
- Diagnosis and recommendations for treatment plans.
- Aid in fee structuring the treatment.
- Aid in case presentation to the patient.
- Performing the surgery where the members are welcome to observe if they wish. Dr. Bavar bills the patient an affordable fee for the surgery only.
- Complete aid in the construction of the prosthesis.
Many of the members who desire to learn some of the more advanced prosthetic techniques perform the prosthetics under the supervision of Dr. Bavar. They will have use of his facilities, armamentarium, and trained staff. There is no charge for this service and the referring doctor bills his patient for the prosthetic services.
Implant Study Group
The Implant Study Group of NY was founded in 1996 by Dr. Trevor Bavar. The purpose of the organization is to further the education of dentists in the field of dental implantology.
We:
- Stay on the cutting edge of implant dentistry. In today's environment it is impossible to provide superior restorative care without offering your patients the option of having implant therapy.
- Quarterly meetings are held where the members are exposed to the latest in dental implant news, theory and techniques. See the newsletter for upcoming meeting dates.
- Members will have an opportunity to discuss cases from their private offices and an individual free consultation service is available to all members.
- Meetings are held in the luxurious Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains, NY. A full dinner is served. There is free indoor parking.
- Dues are a modest $100.00/yr.
